Cross-32 Meta-Assembler by Universal Cross-Assemblers is a table-driven cross-assembly system for building code across a wide range of microprocessor and microcontroller families. Its meta-assembler core cleanly separates the engine from target-specific instruction sets, allowing you to switch CPUs or add new ones through definition files without changing your workflow. The tool provides a robust macro language, conditional assembly, powerful expression handling, symbol management, and clear, configurable listings. It outputs to common industry formats—including raw binary, Intel HEX, and Motorola S-Record—so it integrates smoothly with programmers, emulators, and production toolchains. Designed for consistency and repeatable builds, Cross-32 helps embedded teams use one dependable process across 8-, 16-, and 32-bit targets.

Cross-32 Meta-Assembler is developed by Universal Cross-Assemblers. The most popular version of this product among our users is 4.0. The name of the program executable file is C32W4W95.EXE.

You can check Pattern Maker for cross stitch, Easy Cross, GUI Turbo Assembler and other related programs like Cross Stitch Professional Platinum at the "download" section.

Hello, I've used this program a number of years ago under DOS and Windows 95. The last version 4.0 noted here on this site has been abandoned by the resellers in the USA and Europe. You can no longer purchase a copy to use under windows XP, tried to buy a licence. I believe it was developed using 16-bit tools. This is too bad, it's still a viable meta assembler for 8-bit micros. The original author located in Nova Scotia tragically passed away by accident sometime in 2006. Please make this software available again for sale or post it in abandonware website for others to continue to use.
